Bridget Vaughan holds a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Human Resource Management) from James Cook University. Bridget completed her practical legal training at Leo Cussen Centre for Law where she was awarded the Kevin Foley Memorial Advocacy Award. She has been admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Her major areas of legal practice include commercial law, general and commercial litigation, family law and wills and estates. In the area of commercial law, Bridget has experience in employment law, franchising law, insolvency law, corporate advisory and dispute resolution.
Bridget has assisted clients in all Victorian and Federal jurisdictions to achieve commercially focused outcomes in a range of disputes.
Prior to joining the McMahon Fearnley team, Bridget was a Court Clerk at the Townsville Magistrates Court and more recently, at the Coroners Court of Victoria.
Bridget is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australian HR Institute.
